Overview
This extension, joined to the existing dwelling by a breezeway, was designed to integrate seamlessly with the home while elevating the family’s overall living experience. The design provided far more than extra space, offering a new level of comfort and functionality. The homeowners were also able to add their own personal touch by selecting and completing several key elements themselves, including the upgraded kitchen finishes, bathroom fit-out, decking, and internal flooring.
Challenges
- Working Within the Existing Design: Tailored the new design to integrate seamlessly with the existing roofline and overall home style.
- Minimising Homeowner Disruption: Planned and executed all works so the homeowners could continue living in the dwelling throughout construction.
- Meeting a Growing Family’s Needs: Created a bespoke design solution tailored to the evolving requirements of the homeowners’ expanding family.
